Firecracker 5K

Join us for the Firecracker 5K at Montgomery Bell State Park! This after-dark “glow run” will wind through the beautiful golf course, lit with glowing signs and colorful glow sticks. This event offers 1 mile, 2 mile, and 5K course options and will take place on the paved golf kart paths, making it handicap and stroller accessible. We encourage all age and skill levels to participate in what is sure to be a memorable race!

Start/Finish:
The race kicks off at 8PM, with packet pick-up and day-of registration starting at 7PM in the golf clubhouse parking lot. The starting line is a short walk from the parking lot and will be well marked and easy to find. All races end in the same location as the start.

Registration:
Online registration will remain open until Thursday, June 28th at 10am. We encourage all runners to register online before the race.

5K Race:

EARLY BIRD PRICING: $30 per participant, price includes T-shirt
Price increases to $35 on 6/22 at 10AM

2 Mile Race:

EARLY BIRD PRICING: $10 per participant, does not include T-Shirt
Price increases to $15 on 6/22 at 10 AM

1 Mile Race:

FREE

**T-shirts can be purchased separately online for $12, must order before 6/18

RULES:

Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
A parent’s signature is required for all participants under 18 years old.
Bibs are required to participate and must be visible on the front of your person at all times.
Registrations placed after 6/18 are not guaranteed a shirt.

All proceeds from the race will go to the Montgomery Bell Friends Group and will be used to support Run Club related initiatives at the park.

Awards:
Join us after the race for the awards ceremony and cookout! There will be hotdogs, watermelon, popsicles, and other snacks for all participants and guests.

Award Divisions:

5K: Top male and female in each age category:
Overall top Male/female, 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

2 Mile: Top 3 male/female in each age category: 1-10, 11+

1 Mile: Top 3 male/female in each age category: 1-7, 8+

Timing & Finish Line Services
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Tennessee State Parks Run Club . Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
